uiConsulting Wins Golden Web Award™ for its World Class Website

OTTAWA, ON, Jan. 23, 2003– For some time now, uiConsulting has been known in Ottawa for its accessible and user-friendly brand of web design. But today, the rest of the world took notice, as they were awarded with the highly sought after Golden Web Award.

The 2003 Awards were hosted by the International Association of Webmasters and Designers (IAWMD), a respected authority and leading Association of IT and Web Professionals.

The Golden Web Award, says the IAWMD, is “presented to those sites whose web design, originality and content have achieved levels of excellence deserving of recognition.”

The Golden Web Award is produced by The Web Marketing Association (WMA), and is an annual award competition designed to judge corporate Websites against peer sites within the industry to set a higher standard for Internet marketing and corporate web development on the World Wide Web. Websites are judged and scored in three main areas: Design, Content and Originality.

The Judging panel was made up of Internet marketing, advertising, PR and design professionals from over 130 countries around the world who share an interest in improving the quality of advertising, marketing and promotion used to attract visitors to corporate Websites.

The Golden Web Award is just the latest – and, so far, the most dramatic – sign of uiConsulting’s success since the company first launched two years ago.
