The Pocket Change line of fashion accessories are fabric patches that girls can clip to the pockets of their jeans, pants, shorts or skirts to add a designer look without the designer price. The Pocket Change line is available now for a limited time in all Rite Aid stores.
So-Mine is partnering with Rite Aid and calling on aspiring fashionistas to “Be the Next Pocket Change Designer” and submit their very own Pocket Change patch designs. The winning Design will be produced as the latest addition to the Pocket Change line, and the winner will receive all 12 current Pocket Change patch designs, plus a $ 50 Rite Aid gift card.

So-Mine will accept drawings or sketches in color markers, paint, color pencils, inks, chalks or crayons as well as computer-generated images. The winner will be chosen and announced on Sept. 9, 2011, on the Pocket Change website and the Pocket Change Facebook page, as well as the Rite Aid Facebook page.
For inspiration, aspiring designers can visit So-Mine’s Pocket Change website to view current designs bearing phrases such as “Peace, Love and Sunshine” and “2 Cool 4 School,” which allow girls to express their own personality and mood. Pocket Change is available in 12 unique designs, each handmade from materials including felt, embroidery and other elements including glitter and jewels. One size fits all with a patented clip design made from sturdy ABS plastic that attaches comfortably to the top of a pocket away from contact with the wearer’s seat.
