Paula Guy, CEO of Georgia Partnership for TeleHealth, Inc. has joined an elite group of Georgia leaders on the Georgia Health Information Exchange Board of Directors. Georgia Health Information Exchange, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization charged with creating a network that will allow for the timely exchange of vital health information and accelerate the pace of health information technology development across Georgia. The creation of this statewide Health Information Exchange is expected to further the development of health technology industries in Georgia and to promote Georgia’s national position as a health technology leader.

Paula has 12 years of leadership experience in building telemedicine networks in the state of Georgia. She has served on the advisory board for Georgia Technology Authority, review boards for grants and has been a frequent telemedicine expert speaker and consultant. Her experience in grant writing resulted in federal grants and funding from RUS, Office for the Advancement of Telehealth and Universal Service Funding. Under her leadership the Georgia Telemedicine Program has become one of the most comprehensive, robust telemedicine programs in the nation.
